Hi all, New to this place, was pleased to find so many fans of folk metal! Although mostly listening to plain folk, my favourites are: Cruachan, some stuff by Dropkick Murphys, Feuerschwanz, Kalevala - if you want to try russian folk metal, don`t miss them out, highly recommended and I like two songs by Arkona - Yarilo and Stenka na Stenku. Otherwise I like very much Fejd, Garmarna, Hedningarna, Värttina, Deanta, The celtic ladies and Triskilian ( pure folk ). Cheers!

try asking people who you know are active and will actually contribute theres no point having a group full of members who wont be active
