I know Suicide Silence isn't really a Groove Metal band, but they are one of my favorites of all time, so I feel like this bulletin is worthy. On Halloween night, 2012, Mitch Lucker took the last joyride of his life. He took his motorcycle out for a Halloween cruise, sadly he didn't come back. At the memorial service, his wife mentioned that he had a drinking problem. I can only assume this means he was probably drunk when he was riding his motorcycle that night. Granted, that was a mistake, and a stupid one at that. Regardless of the thoughtlessness involved in his choice that night, I think we should all stop for a second and pay our respects to one of the most Brutal vocalists in the Deathcore scene. I still remember listening to "Smoke" from 'No Time To Bleed' and thinking, "Wow... that guy can fuckin' wail..." Mitch's lyrics and passion helped me through a lot of shit in my life. If I haden't had Mitch's influence, along with many others at different points in my life, I would be a totally different person, and probably a lot less happy with life in general. Horns Up, Mitch. You Will Be Missed .!,,!
