CARNIFEX, i know they're Deathcore, but it still counts. They were the first that got me hooked.
I thought Metalcore was it's own genre. Isn't Deathcore just a subgenre of Death Metal?
How could i forget also - Ulcerate - if you want to hear a massive, dark ambient extreme metal sound then listen to the Ulcerate from New Zealand -

Anyone heard of The Acasia Strain? They're more of a dethcore, and their riffs are a bit generic but they got some beastly lyrics/vocals.
